I found the string quite easily using a program called HexEditor, ironically it is a hex editor. There is a compare function this program whch you could use. Despite finding the string though thee are many markers and I have tried a combination of codes from this string, yet to no avail. Insummary give HexEditor a go, version is the one I'm working with.

Calltor says there there's no encryption used in that challenge
:P
I suggest you'll read some other posts o nthis topic
in one of the posts cp literally says where the password is i nthat string
and besides it's very easy to guess which part of the string is the password

You can pm me, but what can I tell you more than cp77fk4r above?
--the password in the string that you found, it marked by "[" and "]".
If you have some "[" and "]" in your string, you should have the answer. If not, review your work.
