I still don't get it... Are you supposed to do it just with a simple text editor? Do you need to modify anything? kusooooo

you learn Japanese too? Hajimemashite! :P
I'm still staring at this output on my notepad, staring and getting really crazy. I'm overlooking something, but I cannot see any important data, not something which looks like a passphrase, secret numbers or whatever it is...

i'm don't learing Japanese, but i love amine and draw in manga style :)

and- look, try to think.
if we write some string in the HEADER- the file will be fucked.
if we write some string in the INFO HEADER- the file wil be mess.
if we write some string in the IMAGE DATA- the BitMap will be mess.

so- where we can write some strings and the file and the BITMAP will stay okay?

try to think at this hint with the else hints that i gave ya!

Hajimemashite! :)

The optional palette, but as far as I've seen, the offset which is defined in the header is 0x0036, which means that the image itself starts at the end of the info header, which means that there is no palette defined.

Nop, the OPTIONAL PALETTE used for saving the bitmap, if we write there some chr- the orginal BITMAP will be mess too.

and you right, look over the header, look what the size and look how we can exploit that to hide text in the BITMAP without make a change.

and remember my last hint! in the file but out the file :)

Another analisis:

header:
type 0x424d "BM"
size 0x000513ae 332718
reserved1 0x0000
reserved2 0x0000
offset 0x00000036 54

infoheader:
size 0x00000028 40
width 0x000001bd 445
height 0x000000f9 249
planes 0x0001 1
bits 0x0018 24
compression 0x00000000 0
imagesize 0x00051378 332664
xresolution 0x00000000 0
yresolution 0x00000000 0
ncolours 0x00000000 0
importantcolours 0x00000000 0

I would turn each pixel to of the "reserved" quad to 1 or 0, and then code a binary string... I already tried this, but it didn't do any good. Am I thinking too complicated?
