u said that you know that one board is unplugged...well...I tried all the options (A board is unplugged, B board is unplugged, etc...)
and the key that I've got in all the options is wrong...
so I just wanted to ask...
is there something wrong in my way?
is the key have have some meaning?
and what you wanted to say exactly in this hint :"As we know, one of the boards was unpluged."?

Are you sure you did it right? The arrows you see next to the boards are says that the board move around while typing the letter, but remember that you dont try to get the cypher from the plain. you have the cypher-text in your hands, and you want exactly the opposite action- you want to pull out the plane Text! so figure ... Which direction you should move the boards?

what do u mean "Which direction you should move the boards"?
u said A board will move 1 lvl up and B board will move 1 lvl down after each type!
so i did so while A is unplugged-didnt worked
while B is unplugged-didnt worked
and while C is unplugged-didnt worked neither...
so i have 1 more qustion...the keyboard, the lights board, the reflector
are not moving after each type right?
so if i type "A" in the first time-the output will be "B" (when all the boards are plugged)
but if i'll type "A" in the second time-the output will be "G"?
(again-when all the boards are plugged...)
thx for the help...=)

Hello,
Can I have some clarification on this, please?
The diagram seems to suggest that the letters are encoded in the order ABC and stops there. However, my knowledge of enigma and the fact that C is a reflector, it should be ABCBA. Is the diagram misleading here?
Also, if one if unplugged, does that mean that it is not used at all, or that it is used, but that the wheel does not turn?
Though to be honest, I seem to have tried all possibilities and still can't get it.
cheers

you can make a script that do for you the job. and when the sign back from the reflector it's not mean that goes reversly- it's mean that it goes acord the lines in the reflector.
and unplugged means that the wheel does not turn (as I remember..)
