can anyone give me a hint pls! i dont know what to do here. i tried to open the pic1 and pic2 in notepad to see the diffrent but its a big code! i cnat scan any char!! its a lot of work!
i tried to find a diffrent in size oa the pictures, they size on the disk but nothing.
anyone can help me?

i didnt pass the level yes but like u i think it's about compare, try to search for program that will do the "hard work" :)

yea but i dont think that there can be a some code diffrent because if the writer of the challenge (Calltor) insert some char or string into the code the size, size on disk, width and height of the picture will be change.
But i will try to search some program that can help me to do the "hard work" :)

i have already check with program and there is a diffrennt...how he did it? it's simple one mathod is to hide in the 2 bitmap diffrent text in the same byte size, this way u kipping the 2 images equel in hight width and file size :)

I made a program that do the compare job in VB- it's very simple- load the two pictures and check pixel by pixel if they equel :)

but then u get just a third image with some white pixel right?

white pixel ? nope, My program output to you a now BITMAP with the pixel that make the different...

Nope, it's like I tell ya the password.. look, for this job, VisualBasic is the best lang! and it's not really hard.. you just need to two counter loops!

hmm i can do this too in c lang...
but the program will say when the text is starting to change....
very easy...
if anyone want that i build this program say here ^.^ ..
edit : i build a program that do the job and write to another file all the text from the point it change.
if cp will say yes i upload the program or the code...
if not i will give a hints.

What you try to do with this code?
you don't need to check if the file are differents, you need to get the pixel that make the different!
and I think that VB better than C to this job.

i guess the files are open in binary way and not text right?
well when i will now VB i do this...
